Applications for Approval

  • BCP Strata is not authorised to approve your application.  Your application will be forwarded to the Committee for your Body Corporate for consideration and approval and you will be notified of the outcome in due course.
  • Prior to lodging your application it is recommended that you review the Body Corporate By-laws so you can address any relevant conditions in your application.
  • If approval is granted by the Body Corporate Committee it will be subject to any conditions imposed by the Body Corporate’s by-laws and/or Committee.
  • An additional fee may be required to process your application.

Keep a Pet

If you are considering adding a furry, feathered or scaly companion to your family, you will need to seek pet approval from the Body Corporate.

Blinds, Shutters & Screens

Are you looking to install a blind, shutter or screen (inside or outside the Lot)? You may need to seek approval first.

Pay TV

Body Corporate approval is needed if you are wanting to install a pay TV satellite to stay up to date with the latest sports, news and movies.

Air Conditioner

Before installing an air conditioner, ensure that you obtain prior Body Corporate approval.

Solar Panels

Installing solar panels is a great way to harness the sun’s energy, but don’t forget to seek approval first, and be sure to include size of panels, cost and where they are being installed.

Erect a Sign

Are you selling or leasing your property, or wanting to erect or affix a commercial sign on Common Property? Be sure you obtain Body Corporate approval first.

Erect a Structure

Do you want to erect a structure – perhaps a garden shed to store the mower or a pergola over the patio? You’ll need to seek approval first. Be sure to provide the proposed colours for consideration

Make Alterations to Lot

Are you renovating, upgrading or changing part of your Lot? Don’t forget to get Body Corporate approval before you arrange any work.

Levies - Allow Discount/Waive Interest

You may request consideration be given to either allow the discount, or waive overdue interest, for levies that have been paid after the due date.
