New Year, New Knowledge

There is nothing quite like strata. In no other sector will you find over a billion dollars of assets maintained by volunteers. Owners and committee members like you work hard to preserve their properties but, given the complex legislation surrounding owner’s corporations and body corporate committees, you may find it difficult without specialised training and knowledge.

SCA (Qld), the peak industry body for body corporate and community management, is out to help the strata community by introducing a committee training course.

The half-day course is designed specifically to suit owner’s needs and aims to provide committee members with the appropriate knowledge to manage their scheme adequately and comply with legal requirements. Modules include committee governance, future planning, committee operations, finances and facility management, and the course will be held on 29th March from 9am to 4pm.

To register for the course or to find out more information, please email events.qld@strata.community or phone the SCA (Qld) office on (07) 3839 3011.
